Aime makes music for your headphones and for your couch; for short train commutes and for your favorite book; for rainy days and for far and desolate corners of the world.
Aime is fran fominguez. He plays keyboards, knobs, beats, samples, and takes care of the production and mixing. His debut album "Place Your Hands Over Your Eyes" combines Brian Eno's ambient musings with Boards of Canada's beats, The Orb's penchant for glorious themes with the musical poetry of Mum. "Place Your Hands..." picked up an "Electronica album of the year" award by the "2006 Los Angeles Music Awards" and continues to receive growing airplay at various college and internet based radio stations and numerous podcasts.
Aime is currently in the studio putting the finishing touches on his follow up, titled "Times When I Know You Will Watch The Sky". Early feedback says it's going to be a massive record. Stay tuned!
