Ever since bank tellers were replaced by ATM’s, and telephone operators were replaced by bodiless voices that don’t understand you: AutoMatique has stood for the dialogue that takes people out of the world of Automation, and into the experience of being truly human.
While that might sound really high-concept, their music is not. They’re just four people who have found a family with one another in their conversations, their lifestyles and in their music. What you hear is their interpretation of life: through music.
The members of AutoMatique have been in many bands over the years. While two of them studied music in school, the other two studied the life around them. This combination of musical prowess and social understanding has brought meaningful insight to the way the band writes and performs their music.
Automatique bites with a raw rock energy and smoothes it out with steady grooves and melodic choruses. While appealing to common trends in rock, they bend the rules to give a taste of something new. By combining the influences of Rock legends both past and present, Jazz heavyweights and the pounding anthems of Punk, AutoMatique builds rock songs meant to stand the test of time.
